Free Audio Electronics Workshop

May 29, 2025 5:30 PM
Plymouth

Learn how to design and prototype a simple audio circuit breadboard with analogue expert and guitar pedal builder, Stu Welsh.

Join us on Thursday 29th May for a free workshop with Stu Welsh that will introduce you to the basics of audio electronics and provide the foundations to explore your own audio devices.

Have you ever wanted to build your own guitar pedal FX or are you interested in how audio hardware works?

Our next event focuses on custom guitar pedal effects, hosted by Stu Welsh, an analogue recording expert, music technologist and educator who also enjoys cracking open and hacking electronic devices.

In this workshop, Stu will show you how to design and prototype a simple audio circuit on a breadboard. Including a basic walkthrough of the circuit and then a chance to build and test your own effect.

(All parts and components will be supplied for the workshop and the first 10 attendees can keep the parts for further experimentation).
