Jack Martin

What did you do before joining Access Creative?  

Before I joined Access Creative, I’ve worked in the industry as a record producer, recording engineer and mix engineer for over 10 years. I have worked in studios across the country, including working at Miloco. I was also the studio manager/senior sound engineer for a group of recording studios in Milton Keynes.

I have worked with the likes of Liam Payne, Tempa T, Ken Scott and Charlie Sloth, amongst others.

Why did you first get into music production?

I started off by recording demos for friends on portable recorders and players, not realising that recording could be a job! I then found a college course and went from there.

Any special areas of interest?  

My main area of interest is in recording, mixing and producing.

What do you love most about what you do?

I love being able to share my experiences and knowledge with students and helping them create records that they are proud of. That moment when you listen to the song, after the final mix is complete and think, yes, that’s it!

Tell us about your proudest career moment?

My proudest moment is probably being called to run the session for Liam Payne, or working with the legend, Ken Scott.

What do you get up to outside of teaching?

Outside of teaching, I'm usually in the studio working with commercial clients!

I’m a massive car fanatic!
